American singer and advocate Alicia Keys took the forefront as she
join a group of #Bringbackourgirls campaigners to the head quarters of
United Nations in New York yesterday, October 14th to mark the 6th month
of the abduction fo Chibok girls in Borno State on April 14th.
Alicia urged United Nations that it is important to continue talking
about Chibok girls as humans have a tendency to move on from the issue.
She captioned on Instagram “On my lil guys birthday I stand with the
mothers of Chibok!! We can’t ignore 6 months of this tragedy!! What if
it was you or me? I want to remind you that in this darkness, your voice
matters!
#BringBackOurGirlsNOW!! Let’s do something about this.”
