Child Killer/Rapist Daryell Dickson Tortured And Raped In Prison In Brazil By 20 Men

A Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor named Daryell Dickson Meneses Xavier was reportedly beaten and raped by 20 men after he was locked up for allegedly killing and possibly raping his girlfriend's 1year 11 months old son (pictured with him left) in Taguatinga, suburb of Brasilia, Brazil in Sept 2013.
According to local media, trouble started for the man after his girlfriend left him alone with her son. A few hours later, he called his girlfriend claiming the boy fell and was having seizures. The child was rushed to the hospital and died two days later. Doctors who didn't believe the boy fell called the police and told them they suspected foul play because the injuries on the boy wasn't consistent with a fall but with blunt trauma, and also said possible sexual abuse was involved. President Obama Regrets Not Spending More Time With Mom

How do you achieve your dreams? Where do you find the most happiness? And what are your biggest regrets?
For more than an hour today, young Southeast Asians peppered President Obama with questions that demanded his self-reflection and personal analysis. And the famously professional Obama delivered on both, talking about life, legacy and family in at times deeply personal terms, during a town hall meeting at the University of Malaya.
"I regret not having spent more time with my mother," Obama candidly told the students when asked about his life regrets. "Because she died early - she got cancer right around when she was my age, actually, she was just a year older than I am now - she died. It happened very fast, in about six months."
Ann Dunham died from ovarian cancer in 1995 just 22 days shy of her 53 rd birthday.
"There was a stretch of time from when I was, let's say, 20 until I was 30, where I was so busy with my own life that I didn't always reach out and communicate with her and ask her how she was doing and tell her about things," Obama said. "I was nice and I'd call and write once in a while. But this goes to what I was saying earlier about what you remember in the end I think is the people you love. I realized that I didn't - every single day, or at least more often - just spend time with her and find out what she was thinking and what she was doing, because she had been such an important part of my life."
The president described a rebellious youth stemming from his "complicated" family life, growing up without a father at home, and "sometimes I was enjoying life too much."
"You have to focus more on what kind of influence and impact are you going to have on other people's lives," he said.
Family is the most significant source of happiness, Obama told the audience, but also "feeling as if I've been true to my beliefs and that I've lived with some integrity."
Perhaps the toughest question for the president was what he hopes his legacy will be. In a rambling 9-minute answer, Obama cited a range of factors. He said his "most important" legacy is fathering daughters Malia and Sasha, whom he said are "turning out to be wonderful young people."
"Being a great husband," also matters, he added, "because if you don't do those things well, then everything else you're gonna have problems with."
As for his presidential legacy, Obama spoke more broadly, noting his response to the financial crisis of 2009; promotion of greater economic opportunity for all people; curbing Syria's chemical weapons; confronting Iran; encouraging peace between Israelis and Palestinians; and, being the first American president to visit Burma. He didn't mention the Affordable Care Act.
President Obama said the event was an opportunity for him to make a personal connection with the future leaders of Southeast Asia, making something of a down payment on enhanced future ties with the U.S. Young adults under the age of 35 represent more than 60 percent of the population of ASEAN nations. Obama took questions from people representing five different nations - Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand.
He said the U.S. wants to have stronger ties with all of them.
"Some people have wondered whether because of what happens in Ukraine or what happens in the Middle East, whether this will sideline our strategy - it has not," he said. "We are focused and we're going to follow through on our interest in promoting a strong U.S.-Asia relationship."

$800,000 Hongqi L5 is the most expensive Chinese car you can buy

China's oldest car company rolled out its first vehicle on Aug. 1, 1958; it was a chrome-lined black sedan designed -- like the pastiche of 1950s cars it resembled, including the Packard-esque Chaika -- to strike equal amounts of fear and inspiration into the revolutionaries. In Chinese, "Hongqi" in means "red flag," the most potent symbol of the Chinese Communist Party, making it a fitting name for a company that supplied the apparatchik. A symbol of power, a sphere of influence, a four-wheeled Great Leap Forward! Curiously enough, it took Nixon's 1972 visit for Mao Zedong (who finally swore off the Soviets and their ZIS-110s) to get into a Hongqi.

Today, you can ride around in your own Hongqi; in lieu of loyal service to the Party, you can provide something even more valuable: cash, and tons of it. How shamelessly bourgeois, you might say, and you'd be pretty damn right.

Take a look at the Hongqi L5. Under development for the last four years, it debuted at the Beijing auto show with a 5-million yuan sticker. To own China's most expensive car, you'll pay the U.S. equivalent of $801,624, which, as far as we can tell, is the most expensive car to carry one of those small, oval "Made in China" stickers. (Stick 'em on in bulk if it'll make you feel like you're getting your money's worth.) Naturally, somebody bought the first one right from the show floor.
Nailing 50 years' worth of luxury, its specifications are fittingly impressive. It digs into the pavement with

Silva, would also attend the forum.

"The summit is also holding in the year that Nigeria marks its centenary and coincides with the celebration of its being the largest economy in Africa," he said.

I’ve Given The Names Of Boko Haram Sponsors To President Jonathan – Guru Maharaj Ji Reveals

Just days after one Alhaji Goni, a spiritualist in based in Adamawa, threatened to make public the names of Boko Haram sponsors, Sat Guru Maharaj Ji has revealed that he had already beat him to it.
The Spiritual Leader of One Love Family with headquarters in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo, is said to have stated that he had already told President Goodluck Jonathan who the sponsors of the sect are.
The Guru is said to have asserted that some former military rulers, a former Vice President, and some leaders in the North are the ones funding the group.
Guru who recently declared that both sponsors of the group and those behind the April 14 bombing at Nyanya Park in Abuja that claimed scores of lives would face repercussions of their action before the end of October revealed during an interview with our correspondent: "I had told President Goodluck Jonathan those behind these nest of killers (Boko Haram) through several publications."
He . "I have asked the President to arrest them before now because they said after the 2011 general elections that because power did not return to the North, they would make the nation ungovernable.
"The spirit of the creator is against them. They are going to be dealt with. I will call them
to order in the interest of innocent Nigerians, enough of the bloodletting.
If President Jonathan had listened to the advice I gave him two years ago when I was at Aso Rock, all the killings by Boko Haram would have stopped. After my visit to the villa, the bombings stopped but because those in government did not continue to tap from my spiritual grace, the bombers returned.
"Nigeria belongs to all of us. As Living Perfect Master, I cannot be here and all these continue. I am challenging the Northern leaders to an open debate in a national television. Let them swear by the name of the Creator and all the seven elements of the earth that their actions were not the direct reflection of Boko Haram onslaught."

She however expressed happiness that cases of malaria have reduced drastically in the state due to the concerted effort of the state government in tackling the malaria challenge.
Kolo, who made the disclosures at an event organised to mark the Malaria Day, attributed the reduction of malaria cases in the state to what she described as the political commitment of the Governor Kashim Shettima Administration to eradicate the disease.

Tinubu, Nyako and APC's Appeal to Violence

It is quite unsettling that the leaders of the leading opposition party, All Progressives Congress (APC), have decided to self-destruct. They are doing their best in putting the wrong foot forward in almost all their recent public outings. After the launch of their agenda document, the Road Map to a New Nigeria, many had expected the public conduct and utterances of the APC leadership would match the Eldorado their manifesto painted. Sadly that is not the case. Instead, those who have been shouting from the rooftop how the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has failed since 1999 have taken it upon themselves to set the country on fire.

'We don't use our military might to impose these things on others, but we will not hesitate to use our military might to defend our allies and our way of life,' Obama told cheering U.S. forces at the Yongsan garrison on a sunny spring morning.

‘I feel sorry for Moyes’ – Ancelotti

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has voiced his sympathy for sacked Manchester United manager David Moyes.
The former Everton coach was given the task of succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford last May, but was dismissed from his post on Tuesday after just 11 months in the job.
Ancelotti says he was surprised that the Red Devils resolved to fire their coach so soon but says many other clubs would have taken the same decision.
“I was a little surprised because Manchester United don’t have that custom of sacking managers,” he told reporters.
“In another club, it would be completely normal, but after so many years with Sir Alex, it is a little surprising.
“I feel for Moyes, but this is the life of a coach. At time things don’t go well and you are sacked. I’m sure Moyes will look for and find another job.”
A 2-0 loss to Everton on Sunday ensured that United, who sit seventh in the Premier League, cannot qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Club legend Ryan Giggs will take charge of the team for their remaining games this season.

The missing Malaysia Airlines flight has had us all hooked for weeks. You’ve probably spent hours pouring over the internet for more details, clicked on any aircraft-related link on your Facebook feed and have discussed theories over beers in the pub. Let’s be honest, we all love a mystery.
But it’s not the first plane to go missing in suspicious circumstances. In fact, far from it. OK, so in the past 50 years we’ve got way better at locating wreckages (we’re guessing due to technological advances), so it’s not every day we wake up to huge jumbo jets full of holiday makers disappearing.
But since planes first took to the skies in 1903, there have been a handful that have rivalled MH370 in the weird stakes….
