Big Brother Africa Hotshots: Tough Times For Tayo

The house is heating up, despite a slow start to the morning.Nhlanhla and Sheillah continued flirting, frustrating everyone as they waited for something to happen. Will we ever see them kiss? Maybe another girl will pull a move on Nhlanhla, like Mira did – although that did not turn out too well for her.

Nerves were frayed as housemates sat around waiting for the head of house task to start. Ellah, Sabina and Butterphly took a quiet moment to pray together, while Lilian started twerking yet again. Biggie eventually took them out of their misery, calling Laveda to the diary room to provide her with the head of house task.
After a qualifying round, the task went ahead with the five winners.Samantha became the ultimate hotshot for the week when she won the task, taking the title of head of house and saving her from eviction.
Tayo had been on the verge of winning himself, and he was extremely upset about losing. Back inside, his nerves got the better of him and he started ranting and raving, exasperating his housemates, as well as fans.

Luis Suarez Returns After Bite Ban

Luis Suarez set up Uruguay’s goal in the 1-1 draw against Saudi Arabia, as he made his first appearance for the country since his ban for biting.
The Barcelona forward’s strike came off the post before it was diverted into his own net by Hassan Muath Fallatah.
The 27-year-old was initially banned for four months and nine international matches, for biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup.
That was changed to nine competitive internationals on appeal.
The ban will end in time for Barca’s El Clasico game against Real Madrid on 25 October.

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) spokesman Mark Howell told reporters that agents have found an estimated 1,600 guns so far this year in bags at airport security checkpoints nationwide.
It remains unclear if Flocka would be granted bail, but Howell also stated that the TSA can impose a fine of up to $11,000 depending on the infraction.

BBA Hotshot: First Kiss, First Scandal

It only takes a little alcohol to bring out loads of personality. Whether authentic or not is neither here nor there but there is nothing quite like the affect that alcohol had on housemates behaviour after the party.
The new love-birds Mira and Luis joined their fellow love compatriotsNhlanhla and Sheillah to cool down after that work out on the dance floor. But under the influence the couples quickly turned into the awesome foursome, replete with enough scandal to raise the blood sugar levels.
It all started when the frolicsome Mira saddled her beau as they locked lips in full view of the couple on the other side of the road. Luis couldn’t have been more chuffed while Nhlanhla and Sheillah stroked and held each other closer.
When Luis disappeared for a moment Mira sauntered over to the couple, whispered “I’ve always wanted to kiss you” and laid a sensual kiss on her ‘scheme’ Nhlanhla. The two enjoyed the steamy moment with Sheillah looking on.
The game was on from here on.

Emeka Ike Reveals Names Of Movie Producers That Sleep With Actresses For Roles

Imo State born actor, Emeka Ike who is seen as a controversial one because of his straightforward reactions on issues in the movie industry in Nigeria has been involved in a running battle with the body since he declared his intention to lead the guild, and believes he is the only one who can rescue what he calls a dying movie industry.
He went on to mention names of people who he feels are ‘ruining’ the tune of events in the Nigeria movie industry. He was quoted saying:
”There are five people who have taken the laws of Nigerian movie industry into their hands. They are Emma Ogugua, Murphy Stephen, Sunny McDon, Okey Bakassi and Ifeanyi Dikeh. These five people registered Actors Guild of Nigeria as their personal business. No other individual can come in.”
“My first concern is to clean up Nollywood, clean up AGN. Every Nigerian youth want to act movies now, what future are we leaving for them? Where are they going to write their names?”
“The two bedroom in Surulere where they would ask you to come and grace their beds before they give you roles? Where they would make you join a gay group or lesbian group before they talk to you?”
“Nollywood has gotten so bad that you must either strip and grace their beds or join the gay or lesbian group to belong.”

2015: An Open Letter To General Muhammadu Buhari

His Excellency General Mohammed Buhari.GCFR Former Head of State of Nigeria. 10th October, 2014. Dear Sir, OPEN LETTER TO GENERAL BUHARI I have been constrained to write you through the media because I do not have an alternative way of reaching you. Permit me to share my opinion on your presidential ambition, which I think is equally shared by many Nigerians of my generation irrespective of ethnic or religious differences. Sir, I heard about you first on the 31st of December 1983. Then I was a ten year old boy in primary six, celebrating with the whole nation on the arrival of our military Heroes. At least so we thought! The jubilations were spontaneous. The nationwide celebrations signalled the demise of the second republic and ushered in the military dispensation commonly referred to as the Buhari/Idiagbon regime. Immediately you launched the War Against Indiscipline and introduced the Nationwide Monthly Sanitation Exercise. The WAI crusade stuck in my brain and still reverberates up till now. To simplify the message my Teacher introduced an Igbo acronym for WAI: Wepu Ajo Ihe; which literally translates: Remove Bad Thing. Sir, I must confess that the image that stuck in me about Buhari/Idiagbon was that of two no-nonsense characters, straight talkers, people who meant yes when they said yes and vice versa. This impression I believe was equally shared by many others in my generation. Today, I am a 41 year old Nigerian. A lot has changed. I see things differently now. I am now a fully grown man who can analyse issues critically. One thing I believe passionately is that it is very important for one to set a standard for oneself, but equally more important to sustain the standard. On the final lap of your presidential campaign for 2011, you made an open declaration in front of the media and your supporters, without mincing words you stated emphatically that 2011 would be your last attempt to contest the Presidency. Going by your legacy and
