Osun State Police Arrests Pastor With Human Skull

The Osun State Police Command has arrested a pastor, Clement Oyetunde, for allegedly burying a human skull at the back of his residence which he also used as a church.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mrs. Folasade Odoro, told journalists in Osogbo on Thursday while parading the suspect that the pastor was arrested following a tip-off by neighbours.

She said the pastor was also arrested with some charms.

The police spokesperson said that the suspect, in connivance with one Wasiu who is now at large, buried the human skull inside his house located at Adeowo area in Modakeke.

Odoro said that the suspect who was involved in crime while pretending to be a pastor was exposed by residents which led to his arrest.

But the suspect said Wasiu brought the skull to him.

He said, “I am a pastor at Adeowo area of Modakeke. Wasiu brought the skull to me and we buried it at the back of my house.

“Wasiu left immediately after we buried the skull and I don’t know his whereabouts. Some days after we buried the skull, I started hearing some strange voices singing and they were beating drums. Their songs were gospel songs and later they changed to traditional songs.”
